Arsenal in the Community is the community arm of Arsenal Football Club.
Working alongside the Barclays Premier League Works initiative, the project supports young people furthest from the job market, in the boroughs of Islington, Camden and Hackney, to get into employment.
They will receive employability skills training, attend workshops and job fairs, whilst benefitting from mentoring from Arsenal in the Community’s staff.
Volunteering will play a key role in the programme, with young people taking part in clean up days in the local community.
To encourage girls to participate in the programme, a variety of sports will be on offer including hockey, badminton, football and table tennis.
