Ricky Ponting is a cricket legend who now works as a pundit and co-commentator for BT Sport.

The former Australia skipper was a key member of the broadcast team that delivered the 2017-18 Ashes.

He also offers unique insight and analysis on BT Sport's coverage of home Australia internationals and Big Bash League matches.

Ricky joined BT Sport in 2016 after a glittering playing career in which he accumulated an incredible haul of team and personal accolades.

He is widely regarded as one of the finest batsmen of all time after scoring 13,378 runs in 168 Tests at an average of 51.85 - only Sachin Tendulkar (15,921) has amassed more.

Ricky is statistically one of the greatest Test captains in cricket history, having racked up 48 victories in his 77 matches in charge between 2004 and 2010.

He steered Australia to their 5-0 whitewash of England in the 2006/07 Ashes and is the only player to feature in 100 Test wins.

The 2006 Wisden Cricketer of the Year also scored a whopping 13,704 runs in 375 ODIs, a total surpassed only by Kumar Sangakkara (14,234) and Tendulkar (18,426).

He featured in three World Cup triumphs (1999, 2003 and 2007), with the latter two coming as captain.
