We’ve got something special lined up for you on BT Sport today – actually, make that someone. ‘The Special One’ himself, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, will be speaking to Lynsey Hipgrave in an exclusive interview which you can see on BT Sport Live (BT Sport 1, 7pm).

You can also watch one of the latest additions to our team, former Blue Peter presenter and intrepid adventurer Helen Skelton, make her debut on the show this evening and we’ll be live outside Wembley Stadium in the build-up to England’s friendly with Scotland as the old foes meet for the first time in 14 years.

We have a double whammy of live international football for you to choose from, with next year’s World Cup hosts Brazil taking on Switzerland in a friendly in Basel (BT Sport 1, 7.15pm), while Germany warm up for next month’s qualifiers with a visit of Paraguay in Kaiserslautern (ESPN, 7.45pm).

Joining Des Kelly on tonight’s edition of Life’s A Pitch (BT Sport 1, 10pm) is former England and Newcastle midfielder Rob Lee, while journalists Paddy Barclay and Nick Harris will also be on hand as the panel look back over the England v Scotland clash and the rest of the day’s sporting news.

The WTA Western & Southern Open continues in Cincinnati as the tournament moves into day three (BT Sport 2, 6-8pm and 1.30-3.30am). World number one and top seed Serena Williams gets her campaign underway against qualifier Eugenie Bouchard, while later in the day defending champion Li Na takes on wild card entry Lauren Davis.

Finally, if you’re a Major League Baseball fan you can fill your boots in the early hours as we bring you the live showdown between St Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates (ESPN, 1-3am).
