At the top of the bill on BT Sport today is our live international under-21s clash between England and Scotland. The two sides go head-to-head at Bramall Lane in Sheffield for the first time at that level since 1993 (BT Sport 1, 7.15pm).

If WTA tennis is more your thing, you can switch over to BT Sport 2, where we have all the action from Cincinnati on day two of the Western & Southern Open (4-8pm and midnight-2am).

The BT Sport Live team look back over the day’s sporting action as Vassos Alexander is joined by former 400m European Champion Iwan Thomas (BT Sport 1, 7pm).

Later in the evening, Des Kelly brings you sporting chat and debate when he hosts Life’s A Pitch (BT Sport 1, 10pm). Des is joined by  former Scotland, Chelsea and Everton winger Pat Nevin and journalists Andy Dillon and David Walker.

If you’re still hungry for sporting action you can turn over to ESPN, where there’s a live Major League Baseball double-header to take you through the night as the Atlanta Braves take on the Philadelphia Phillies before the Los Angeles Dodgers face the New York Mets (midnight-6am).

Finally, the night owls among you can also enjoy live Caribbean Premier League Cricket (12.45-4.30am) as the Antigua Hawksbills tackle the Barbados Tridents.
