Clare’s name has become synonymous with sport over recent years after fronting coverage of some of sport’s most prestigious events.

A former leading amateur flat jockey, Clare’s broadcasting career took flight when she became the face of BBC’s horse racing coverage in 1998.

She has gone on to cover all manner of sports, presenting on numerous Olympics, Paralympics, Winter Olympics and Commonwealth Games and establishing herself as one of the country’s most-loved sport presenters.

Clare, the face and co-producer of The Clare Balding Show on BT Sport, received an OBE for her services to the sports journalism and broadcasting industry in 2013, as well as winning the BAFTA Special Award.
