Lesotho has the third highest HIV prevalence in the world. Around 23% of adults have the virus, and young girls aged 15 to 24 are particularly vulnerable to infection.

To help young people avoid HIV infection and have a brighter future, the BT Supporters Club awarded Kick4Life a grant to deliver ‘Goal4Life’, a combined sports, education and life skills course for vulnerable young people affected by HIV in Maseru.

The project initially engages young people through football, and then goes on to provide HIV testing, counselling, life skills workshops and referrals to health agencies.
