City in the Community is Manchester City Football Club’s foundation, created to forge closer relationships between the Club and the local community, and inspire young people in the area.

The Supporters Club funding, match funded by the Premier League, will deliver a ‘One City’ Disability Football Programme, working with 1,000 young people with disabilities.

The programme includes a variety of activities with 12 local schools, from a secondary special school football league to disability awareness programmes. It’ll also train 10 disabled volunteers, provide five work placements and recruit an apprentice to help co-ordinate the programme and give participants even better skills.
