Lee Hughes looks set to make his Forest Green debut in their Skrill Conference clash with Hereford.

The 37-year-old arrived on loan from League One side Port Vale and could play some part in the game, which is screened live on BT Sport.

Forest Green manager Ady Pennock will once again be without Paul Green.

The former Lincoln defender was due to serve the final game of his three-match ban against Aldershot and then Salisbury but both matches were postponed due to the weather.

Pennock could also hand a debut to teenage defender Jerome Binnom-Williams following his loan move from Crystal Palace.

Hereford are also relishing the chance to get back into action after their trip to Woking on Saturday fell foul to a waterlogged pitch.

Their second successive postponement will give Kingsley James more time to overcome his knee problem which has kept him sidelined since early October.

Midfielder Jonathan Brown will be involved having extended his contract with the Bulls until the end of the season having previously been on a three-month deal.

Two players who will not feature are striker Eric Odhiambo, who left the club on Tuesday following the expiration of his contract, and Damon Lathrope who returned to Torquay last week following the sacking of their manager Alan Knill.
