Seattle Reign striker Jessica Fishlock has been recalled for Wales Women's double-header against Slovakia next week.
The 82-times capped Fishlock was surprisingly omitted by new manager Jayne Ludlow for last month's Istria Cup in Croatia and Sophie Ingle was appointed team captain.
Ludlow said Fishlock had not been selected because she wanted to look at other players and the 28-year-old striker had accepted her reasons.
But Fishlock took to social media to express her disappointment at being overlooked for the Croatia tournament, while insisting she wanted to be part of Wales' 2017 European Championship campaign.
Ludlow said: "We are building towards our opening fixtures of the Euro 2017 qualifying campaign and the games will allow us another opportunity to develop an identity and a style of play that will bring success for us in the coming months."
Wales will play Slovakia in two friendlies at Bangor's Book People Stadium on April 6 and April 8.
