The Champions League is back with a bang on BT Sport and the 2018/19 season is set to be the biggest and best yet.
Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool are set to fly the flag for Britain on club football’s grandest stage and all of the quartet’s games will be shown exclusively live on BT Sport.
Ahead of Tuesday’s huge opening night – which features Inter v Tottenham, Liverpool v PSG and six other brilliant live matches – here’s everything you need to know about our coverage of the elite competition.
It’s not just the English teams we bring you.
Every single game all the way through from the play-off round to the final is shown live on TV and on our digital platforms, BTSport.com and the award-winning BT Sport app, with selected fixtures also shown in glorious 4K UHD.
BT Sport, put simply, is the only place to watch live Champions League football in the UK - for at least the next three seasons.
BT Sport is also the exclusive live home of the Europa League, as well as showing Premier League, FA Cup, Scottish Premiership, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, National League and FA WSL football all season long.
In a historic move, Champions League fixtures will be split across two kick-off times – 5.55pm and 8pm – meaning fans can watch back-to-back live games for the first time ever.
BT Sport is also now the only place providing a full televised Champions League highlights show immediately following each night’s action, going out at 10.30pm on all platforms.
Think about it for a moment: being a BT Sport subscriber guarantees you can watch all of the world’s greatest players in action this season.
No other UK broadcaster offers you the chance to enjoy the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe (plus the finest the Premier League has to offer, of course) throughout the campaign.
A host of huge group games – Liverpool taking on PSG and Napoli, Manchester United facing Juventus, and Tottenham tackling Barcelona and Inter, for instance – whet the appetite for the tension-filled knock-out rounds.
Nothing comes close to the magic of the Champions League and you won’t miss a single moment on the road to next year’s final in Madrid with BT Sport.
Not going to be in front of a TV but still want to watch the evening’s Champions League games? No problem.
Enter the enhanced video player, which has redefined how live sport should be watched on the go in the UK.
Its slick interactive live/highlights timeline, multi-cam replays, instant video goal alerts and awe-inspiring 360° functionality combine to make the ultimate Champions League live streaming service.
And what's more, every stream remains available to subscribers after the live coverage is over, meaning you can watch at your own leisure, whether ‘as live’ in full from the beginning or by using the timeline highlights.
We like to think of it as the mobile and desktop equivalent of recording a match you know you’re going to miss on your set-top box – just without the need to remember to press the record button in advance!
Digital-exclusive HD highlights packages of every game are also provided for free shortly after full-time on both BTSport.com and the BT Sport app.

Another way to keep across all the action that has proved hugely popular since its introduction is the Champions League Goals Show.
James Richardson and former European Football Show sidekicks Julien Laurens, Rafa Honigstein and James Horncastle bring you all the goals as they go in, while also lifting the lid on the inside stories at Europe's biggest clubs.
