BT Sport announce first set of Aviva Premiership TV games

BT Sport remains the home of the Aviva Premiership for the 2017/18 season and will be bringing you the very best from the English top flight all season.

Exeter Chiefs

Aviva Premiership champions Exeter Chiefs will start the 2017/18 campaign in front of the BT Sport cameras as they play Gloucester on the opening weekend.

The holders’ travel to Kingsholm on Friday 1st September for a 7.45pm kick off, in one of four televised games from the first round.

Saracens and Northampton Saints are part of a double header the following day, with London Irish taking on Harlequins on their top flight return.

Then on Sunday, England fly-half George Ford will take on former side Bath on his second debut for the Leicester Tigers for a 3pm kick off.

All 12 teams will be shown on BT Sport throughout the season but here are a few key dates for the diary from our first draft of picks.

The first East Midlands derby of the season between Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers takes place on Saturday 9th September with kick off at 4.30pm.

On Saturday 16th September, the Premiership is going international with Newcastle Falcons clash with Saracens taking place in Philadelphia.

Sarries were involved in the first Premiership fixture played in the USA, beating London Irish 26-16 at New York's Red Bull Stadium in March 2016, and will again fly the flag.

Another hotly contested match will see Gloucester take on Worcester Warriors in the M5 derby at Kingsholm, with a 7.45pm start under the lights on Friday 22nd September.

On Sunday 24th September we will be showing a re-run of last season’s Premiership final as Wasps look to get revenge in the back yard of the Exeter Chiefs at 3pm.
