BT Sport’s December football coverage kicks off with a bang, as a packed week of live action includes the FA Cup second round and three exclusive Premier League games.

Manchester United’s trip to the south coast to face former Red Devil Mark Hughes’ Southampton gets us underway on Saturday 1 December in a 5.30pm kick off.

Later that night the huge BT Sport Box Office pay-per-view bout between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury takes centre stage and if the build-up is anything to go by, it’s one not to be missed!

Premier League champions Manchester City are then in action on Tuesday 4 December as they head to Vicarage Road to face Javi Gracia’s Watford at 8pm.

The following night, Wednesday 5 December, sees a mouth-watering encounter between two of the division’s heavyweights as Man Utd welcome old foes Arsenal.

Unai Emery will get his first taste of Premier League football at Old Trafford under the lights, with the 8pm kick-off one to mark in the diary.

The headline-grabbing football doesn’t stop there, with BT Sport airing a double-header on Saturday 8 December, starting with two of the Premier League’s early pace-setters facing off.

Chelsea host Manchester City in what should be a thrilling clash between two of the league’s most attacking outfits and a potentially key fixture in the title chase (kick-off 5.30pm).

Leicester City against Tottenham Hotspur follows straight on from our coverage at Stamford Bridge, with the late-night fixture getting underway at 7.45pm.

Spurs will then turn their attention to European matters, with the final matchday of the Champions League and Europa League taking place that week.

They’re not the only Premier League outfit in action on BT Sport that week, however, with Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea all looking to secure their progress to the knockout stages.

A London derby between Fulham and West Ham United welcomes us back to domestic action, with the 5.30pm clash from Craven Cottage taking place on Saturday 15 December.

Heading into the festive period, Cardiff City fans will hope for an early Christmas present when they welcome Jose Mourinho’s United in the late game on Saturday 22 December.

Rounding off the top-flight action for the year, the BT Sport cameras head to Anfield, as Arsenal look to finish 2018 on a high and silence the Kop.

The big boys then join the FA Cup in the third round, with fixtures being broadcast across the opening weekend of January.

The Premier League returns to our screens with Chelsea - who will be in front of the BT Sport cameras twice in a week - facing Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 12 January at 5.30pm.

Next up is the reverse fixture of one the games of the season so far, when Maurizio Sarri’s men cross London to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal at 5.30pm on Saturday 19 January.

The opening month of 2019 is completed by another midweek double header, starting with Man City’s trip to the north east to play Newcastle.

The St James’ Park encounter is an 8pm kick off on Tuesday 29 January and a day later, Wednesday 30 January, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds play host to Leicester City – again an 8pm start.

We're not just about the live action, either, as you can stay across all the Premier League news and scores with Saturday Morning Savage, BT Sport Score and Premier League Tonight.

Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: “December and January is always exciting for football lovers on BT Sport, with action from the FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and the Premier League.

"Our BT Sport customers won’t be short of some excellent football through December and into the New Year.”
