Rafa Benitez’s men travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea this Saturday, the first of two live Premier League games for the Magpies on BT Sport this month.

We’ll be live from 5pm on BT Sport 1 and in 4K UHD as Newcastle turn their attention back to league matters before the third round replay.

Matt Ritchie's late penalty salvaged a replay for the Magpies against their Championship rivals, with the former Bournemouth man sending David Raya the wrong way from the spot.

Bradley Dack's thumping header had given the visitors the lead and they looked set to cause an upset before Ritchie struck late on.

Despite producing 19 shots, the Premier League side were unable to beat the impressive Raya from open play and appeared to lack a cutting edge in front of goal.

The Rovers goalkeeper was forced into a brilliant double save to deny Ritchie and then Joselu in the first half and they had Danny Graham to thank for two spectacular blocks in his own box after Jonjo Shelvey’s header had been cleared off the line.

Tony Mowbray’s men had chances of their own too, goalscorer Dack could have netted moments before he eventually did had his touch not let him down in the Newcastle box.

Despite sitting in the bottom half of the Championship table, Blackburn have proved they will provide Newcastle with a stern test – could we see another third round upset?
