After kicking off the 2014 season in the desert in Qatar, the MotoGP circus goes Stateside for Round 2 of the championship at The Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas.

We'll be showing every free practice session, every qualifying session and every race live on BT Sport 2 across the three-day race weekend.  Here's everything you need to know ahead of this weekend's festivities.

FRIDAY: FREE PRACTICE

3.00pm-5.45pm, BT Sport 2: FP1 - Live

Live coverage of the first free practice sessions for each of the three classes.

Session times:

  • Moto3 FP1: 3.00pm-3.40pm
  • MotoGP FP2: 3.55pm-4.40pm
  • Moto2 FP3: 4.55pm-5.40pm


7.00pm-10.00pm, BT Sport 2: FP2 - Live

Live coverage from Austin continues with the second free practice sessions from The Circuit of The Americas in Austin.

Session times:

  • Moto3 FP2: 7.10pm-7.50pm
  • MotoGP FP2: 8.05pm-8.50pm

FOLLOW THE ACTION WITH THE BT SPORT APP

BT Sport customers with a BT ID can experience an added dimension to our coverage with our multi-screen coverage of the action on Saturday and Sunday.

If you have an Apple device, make sure you go to the BT Sport app in the Apple Store and update it if necessary.

If you have an Android device, you’ll find the BT Sport app in the Google Play Store.

There are seven extra video feeds for MotoGP and these will be available during qualifying sessions and races.

RACE DAYS

  • MotoGP race: Live Timing, Live Tracking, Helicopter Cam, plus four feeds from cameras on bikes
  • Moto2 race: Live Timing, Live Tracking, Helicopter Cam, plus four feeds from cameras on bikes
  • Moto3 race: Live Timing, Live Tracking, Helicopter Cam


QUALIFYING DAYS

  • MotoGP Q2: Live Timing, Live Tracking, Helicopter Cam, plus four feeds from cameras on bikes
  • MotoGP Q1: Live Timing, Live Tracking, Helicopter Cam
  • MotoGP FP4: Live Timing, Live Tracking, plus four feeds from cameras on bikes


The feeds will be switched once the bikes have taken to the track. When available, the screens will appear automatically in the app, but if the feed isn’t live yet, you’ll see the words “Coming Up”.

All that’s left to do is sit back, choose how you want to to watch, and enjoy the action.

ON DEMAND, REPEATS AND SPOILER-FREE REPLAYS

If want to watch the action all over again, we'll be adding full race replays to the BT Sport website will also be adding full race replays to the BT Sport website and app, via the MotoGP sections on both.  These replays should be avaiable by Monday lunchtime, if not before.
