England women head coach Phil Neville drafted one of his former team-mates into the dressing room before the SheBelieves Cup clash with Germany.
The ex-Manchester United, Everton and England defender got his reign off to a sensational start on Thursday, overseeing a 4-1 win over France.
And ahead of their second group game on Sunday night, Neville brought his former club and international colleague David Beckham in to provide an inspirational talk to the players.
Beckham was pictured on social media meeting the team at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.
The Lionesses thanked the 42-year-old for popping in by handing him an England shirt with his daughter’s name and his famous number seven printed on the back.
