Champions League Draw: Qualifiers

The 16 teams set to feature in the draw are as follows:

Group winners: MANCHESTER UNITED (ENG), Paris St-Germain (FRA), Roma (ITA), Barcelona (ESP), LIVERPOOL (ENG), MANCHESTER CITY (ENG), Besiktas (TUR), TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR (ENG)

Runners-up: Basel (SWI), Bayern Munich (GER), CHELSEA (ENG), Juventus (ITA), Sevilla (ESP), Shakhtar (UKR), Porto (POR), Real Madrid (ESP)

Champions League Draw: How it works

  • Two seeding pots will be formed: one consisting of group winners and the other of runners-up
  • No team can play a club from their group or any side from their own association
  • Seeded group winners will be away in the round of 16 first legs and at home in the return matches

Champions League Draw: Who can Man Utd get?

As winners of Group A, United can face either Bayern Munich, Juventus, Sevilla, Shakhtar, Porto or Real Madrid.

When will the ties be played?

The last-16 first legs will take place on February 13th/14th and 20th/21st, with the second legs scheduled for March 6th/7th and 13th/14th.
