BT Sport Score team make their Premier League predictions for the opening weekend

Do you agree with the BT Sport Score team's Premier League predictions? Take them on in our new game and show off your football knowledge.

The BT Sport Score team have made their Premier League predictions ahead of the first week of the new season.

Our Saturday afternoon goals show pundits have put their necks on the line in week one of our exciting new prediction game.

Here we take a look at how Chris Sutton, Paul Ince, Jules Breach, Mark Pougatch, Jermaine Jenas and Rachel Brown-Finnis think the opening rounds of matches will pan out.

Chris is expecting Man City to be the big winners this weekend, as Pep Guardiola's side open away to new boys Brighton - live on BT Sport from 5pm on Saturday.

Paul thinks champions Chelsea will pick up where they left off against Burnley and is expecting Newcastle to upset the odds and start with a home win against Tottenham.

Jules is not expecting too many goals on the opening weekend but thinks Liverpool will put aside any Philippe Coutinho issues to ease past Watford at Vicarage Road.

Mark thinks all three promoted teams will be dealt an opening weekend defeat, with Crystal Palace beating Huddersfield, Man City winning at Brighton and Tottenham taking all three points against Newcastle.

Jermaine is expecting goals galore as the Premier League returns and thinks Man City will have far too much for Brighton and put six past the newly-promoted club.

Rachel think's Ronald Koeman's new-look Everton will start with a win as they host Stoke at Goodison Park and is also backing Swansea to grab a point against Southampton.
