BT Sport has confirmed its first two live televised games of the 2017/18 Scottish Premiership season.
First up on Friday, August 11th we’ll be with champions Celtic as they make the short trip across Glasgow to take on Partick Thistle in a 7.45pm kick-off.

Brendan Rodgers’ men, who begin the defence of their title the previous weekend with a home game against Hearts, are looking to emulate their incredible feat of going through the entire 2016/17 campaign unbeaten.
And although they scored nine goals in two visits to Firhill last term, they will be well aware that Thistle were one of just four teams to take points off them, claiming a 1-1 draw at Celtic Park in April.
Then on Sunday, August 27th the BT Sport cameras will check in on Rangers, who are set to face Ross County at the Global Energy Stadium (kick-off 3pm).
After the disappointment of their shock Europa League qualifying defeat to Luxemburger minnows Progres Niederkorn, the Gers will be desperate to make a quick start to the domestic campaign.
There was nothing to separate the two sides in their three league meetings last season, with the equivalent fixture ending in a 1-1 draw after Andrew Davies cancelled out Clint Hill’s early opener.
The games are the first of 30 live Scottish Premiership matches set to be shown on BT Sport in 2017/18, with live streaming of every match also available right here on BTSport.com and the award-winning BT Sport app.
If you can’t wait until August for your Scottish football fix, the good news is that BT Sport has exclusive coverage of 13 Betfred Cup matches, starting on Friday, July 14th with Kilmarnock’s trip to Ayr United.
