Smith v Williams 2

Liam Smith and Liam Williams will have the chance to settle their “unfinished business” when they battle it out over 12 rounds in this official eliminator for the WBO super-welterweight title.

The pair met in April but a thrilling fight ended in unsatisfactory circumstances when Williams was pulled out in the ninth round with a really bad cut following a clash of heads with Smith.

The Welshman had dominated the opening rounds and was ahead at the time of the stoppage, although the fact Smith was in the ascendancy means it is far from certain who would have gone on to win had the fight continued.

Now the two have the chance to set the record straight.
